CHARACTERISTICS

Entrance gate control:

>Every entrance gate is controlled by a programmable machine installed near the gate in the local control panel cabinet. Control and command of all entrance gates can be performed either next to the gate, from the station control, or from the operator control centre. Emergency and manual opening of the gates can be carried out from any of these positions. An object detection system automatically reopens the gate if a person is trapped.

Electrical installation:

The electrical installation required to perform the defined control and command functions essentially comprises: electrical power supply; power and communications cables; PLC control panel, and local command and control panel next to every entrance gate.

Communications protocol:

An Ethernet network is used for communications between the concentrator and the automaton of every entrance gate. Both the concentrator and the automaton of the entrance gate can send full messages in any order.

The entrance gates are held to the walls by magnets. To close, the magnet at the fully open limit releases, a motor swings the gate closed and the fully closed limit magnet holds it. On double-leaf gates, the first leaf is released first, followed a few seconds later by the second.
